Italian Spinning -® instructor Alessandro Colò is expected to reach Phoenix within two days and spend there almost a month before moving to S.Diego. On June 19th the endurance bike Race Across America will start in California and end in Atlantic City (New Jersey) after 8-10 days of riding. No stages, no programmed stops, Alessandro will just be riding as much as he can, night and day. His crew will take care of all his needs. In the team there are four Dutch members (Guus Moonen, Mart De Swart, Peer Van Der Dries and Maude Van Dongen), an Italian (Fabio Iuliano) and an American (Paul Peetyjohn). The four veterans from Holland have already been involved in this competition, with Guus taking part and completing the distance several times and the other liaising him. Alessandro will reach Paul Pettyjohn in Phoenix and the two will work together to achieve the best physical and psychical conditions.
Alessandro has been training indoor all winter, in spinning -® bike and in home running bike fixed on rolls. He has also been riding outside, both during the day and at night.
The main distresses may be economical. He is still having problems in covering all the charges of participation (flight tickets, car and RV rental, food and accommodation for the crew, technical stuff). For this reason it is still possible to sponsor his activity, supporting Alessandro Colò in his most important race.
