Oltre 55mila persone dovranno lasciare i loro appartamenti per sette o otto ore domenica prossima - o la successiva, la decisione dovrebbe arrivare nella notte - liberando una zona di un chilometro di raggio nel centro di Milano per consentire agli artificieri di disarmare una bomba d'aereo inesplosa della seconda guerra mondiale trovata nel cortile di un palazzo.

l’ordigno è stato definito dal prefetto Bruno Ferrante "in discrete condizioni". Anziani, malati, disabili e bambini saranno ospitati in uno o più centri di raccolta e dovranno essere bloccate dieci stazioni delle tre linee della metropolitana e la stazione Centrale delle ferrovie che si trova nell’area a rischio.

La bomba era sepolta sotto cinque metri di terra ed è stata messa in sicurezza e controllata giorno e notte dalle forze dell’ordine. Oggi in Prefettura i tecnici della Protezione civile, dei vigili del fuoco, degli artificieri e funzionari del Comune, delle ferrovie e del trasporto pubblico si sono riuniti per mettere a punto il piano di evacuazione.
