THOTEN " DRAMA WITH THE DRUMMER

THOTEN band was a new victim of the violence in Rio de Janeiro. Last week, the drummer Marcos Barzo was wounded in a robbery attempt in his house. The musician got two stabs " one up in the waist and another one in the neck. Barzo was submitted to a four-hour surgery to verify the seriousness of the injuries and it was found only a 1 cm cut in the intestines; in the neck, fortunately, nothing was reached.

After five days in the hospital, the drummer is back home and is very well. Showing a great recovery, in four months Barzo will be back in the stages with THOTEN.

The band is searching a temporary substitute for the drummer, in a way to not cancel the booked concerts for this period, such as a big festival in Peru, in April, with the most important bands from Latin America.
