Eurand, a specialty pharmaceutical company, announced today that a US pharmaceutical partner had recently submitted a New Drug Application (NDA) to the US Food and Drug Administration. The subject of this submission is a customized release formulation of an undisclosed compound which was developed by Eurand and utilizes its Diffucaps-® technology. Eurand will exclusively manufacture the product which will be sold in the US by its partner.
