GAZA, COMANDANTE DI HAMAS UCCISO DA ISRAELIANI

MIDDLE EAST: Un comandante della milizia del gruppo radicale palestinese Hamas è stato ucciso ieri sera da un missile sparato da un elicottero mentre si trovava a bordo della sua vettura nel centro di Gaza.
Secondo le testimonianze, il riconoscimento della vittima si è reso impossibile in quanto è rimasta carbonizzata nell’esplosione. Fonti di Hamas hanno denunciato la scomparsa di un loro comandante: si tratterebbe di Khaled Abu Samaiah, 33 anni, appartenente alle Brigate Ezzedin al-Qassam.
La deflagrazione ha provocato il ferimento di altri cinque palestinesi, uno dei quali " secondo fonti sanitarie " si trova in gravi condizioni.
Testimoni hanno riferito che l’auto è stata centrata da un missile mentre si trovava in una via nel centro della città . Il quotidiano israeliano ’Haaretz’ riferisce che l’esponente di Hamas ucciso ieri era sfuggito a un simile attacco degli israeliani tre settimane fa. [EB]
