At the end of another motor racing season, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software from Fluent Inc. is again proving to be in pole position for motor racing aerodynamic and allied flow simulations. Successes by FLUENT users in Formula 1, Indy Car and NASCAR racing have kept Fluent's code at the forefront of this highly demanding global industry. FLUENT is still the code of choice for nearly every motor racing team in the world due to the code's reliability, accuracy and ease of use. These credentials have helped to make FLUENT the fastest growing CFD code used within the worldwide automotive community.

The 2002 season has also seen the Ferrari Formula 1 Race Team score a repeat double with their driver Michael Schumacher becoming World Champion for the fifth time - the third with the Scuderia - and the race team itself winning the coveted Constructors' Championship for the fourth time in a row by an unprecedented margin.

Recently the Ferrari team has enhanced its CFD capabilities by signing an enhanced 3-year agreement with Fluent Italia to maintain Fluent as its CFD Technical Partner of choice. Fluent's leading edge CFD software continues to meet the exacting demands of the Maranello based motor racing team in its quest for ongoing success and motor racing technical excellence.

About Fluent

Fluent is the world's largest provider of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and consulting services. Fluent's software is used for simulation, visualization, and prediction of fluid flow, heat and mass transfer, and chemical reactions. It is a vital part of the computer-aided engineering (CAE) process for companies around the world and in almost every manufacturing industry. Using Fluent's software, product development, design and research engineers build virtual prototypes and simulate the performance of proposed and existing designs, which helps them to optimize, troubleshoot, scale-up, and retrofit. Use of CFD software reduces time-to-market by reducing the need for costly physical testing and prototyping.

Fluent's corporate headquarters are located in Lebanon, New Hampshire, USA, with offices in Belgium, England, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan and Sweden. Its CFD software is also available around the world through joint ventures, partnerships, and distributors in Korea, Australia, Brazil, China, Taiwan, the Czech Republic, Middle East, and most European countries.
