Prorogato il termine per l’adozione del regolamento sulla sicurezza dei volontari

Su richiesta del Dipartimento della Protezione Civile il Governo ha prorogato fino al 31 marzo 2011 il termine per l?adozione del regolamento sulla sicurezza dei volontari di protezione civile previsto dal decreto legislativo n. 81/2008 per consentire di portare a termine il necessario approfondimento e confronto sui contenuti del regolamento, vista la rilevanza del tema, con le altre Amministrazioni centrali interessate, le Regioni, le Province Autonome e le rappresentanze del volontariato.

La proroga riguarda le organizzazioni di volontariato di protezione civile, i Corpi dei Vigili del Fuoco Volontari delle Province Autonome di Trento e di Bolzano e della Regione Autonoma Valle d?Aosta e le componenti volontaristiche della Croce Rossa Italiana e del Corpo Nazionale del Soccorso Alpino e Speleologico.

Il Dipartimento della Protezione Civile è impegnato a completare l?iter di approvazione della nuova disciplina in tempi rapidi. ?Confidiamo di giungere quanto prima alla definizione di una cornice generale di sicurezza - sottolinea il Capo del Dipartimento della Protezione, Civile Franco Gabrielli - nella quale tutti i volontari di protezione civile possano riconoscersi e che, secondo le prescrizioni del legislatore, sia compatibile con le particolari modalità di svolgimento delle attività di volontariato nel delicato settore della protezione civile?.
