Ospedale Santo Spirito, lunedì la benedizione di Mons. Fisichella alle nuove statue di Tim Schmalz

Roma - Sono state collocate presso l’ingresso dell’Ospedale Santo Spirito in Sassia della ASL Roma 1 le opere iper-realiste realizzate dallo scultore canadese Timothy P. Schmalz.
Le due statue bronzee "Quando io ero ammalato" e "Quando io ero affamato e assetato" fanno parte di un unico ciclo artistico dedicato al Vangelo di Matteo, ideato e fuso in Canada in occasione del Giubileo Straordinario della Misericordia. Il ciclo comprende anche "Quando io ero nudo" (donato alla Basilica di San Pietro in Vincoli), "Quando io ero in carcere" (donato alla Basilica di San Paolo) e "Quando io ero straniero" (donato alla Basilica di San Lorenzo in Lucina).
Le due opere riceveranno la benedizione di Mons. Fisichella lunedì 12 dicembre alle ore 14.00. Saranno Presenti alla cerimonia, oltre all’artista e a Mons. Fisichella, il Direttore Generale della ASL Roma 1, Angelo Tanese, il Direttore Sanitario, Mauro Goletti, e il Direttore Sanitario dell’Ospedale Patrizia Chierchini.
