Il Ministro Padoan sul Monte dei Paschi: "Attenzione a non distruggere fiducia e risparmi"

Roma: In merito alle vicende che hanno interessato il titolo di Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, il ministro dell’Economia e delle Finanze, Pier Carlo Padoan, dichiara quanto segue:
"Per tutta la scorsa legislatura diversi governi hanno lavorato a un piano credibile di messa in sicurezza e rilancio di Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena. Nel 2017 abbiamo avviato un piano sostenibile che ha posto le basi per un rilancio duraturo. I risultati del primo trimestre del 2018 dimostrano che il piano è ben congegnato e che il management lo sta implementando in modo efficace.
Le dichiarazioni odierne dell'on. #Borghi, insieme alle indicazioni fornite nella bozza di programma condiviso tra #Lega e #Movimento-5-Stelle, hanno immediatamente creato una crisi di fiducia che ha prodotto una caduta del corso del titolo in borsa superiore al 10% e la successiva sospensione per eccesso di ribasso. Un fatto molto grave che mette a repentaglio l’investimento effettuato con risorse pubbliche. Ho il dovere di ricordare a tutti gli attori politici che la fiducia si costruisce poco per volta, progressivamente, ma basta poco per distruggerla, tirandosi dietro i risparmi degli italiani che a parole si vorrebbero tutelare."
