SAN BENEDETTO DEL TRONTO " Una delle SUV più popolari degli ultimi anni cambia, rinnovandosi profondamente. Questa SUV è la Land Rover Freelander.
La nuova vettura anglo " tedesca, è equipaggiata con un 3200 benzina da 233 cv e un 2200 TD4 diesel da 160 cv, negli allestimenti E, S, SE, HSE. Esternamente è totalmente cambiata rispetto alla prima serie, che ha riscosso moltissimi consensi fra gli automobilisti europei.
Adesso, assomiglia di più alla Range Rover: testimonianza ne sono i tanti particolari (fari, mascherina, prese d’aria laterali).
Armonico l’anteriore con la grossa mascherina cromata, slanciato e snello il posteriore. Internamente l’auto si è fatta più elegante e lussuosa di prima: le finiture, la qualità dei materiali e i dettagli sono migliorati.
Completa la consolle centrale, con tutti i comandi navigatore, radio e clima al loro posto (molto facili da usare e chiari nella lettura). Chiaro e lineare (lineare con eleganza) è il quadro strumenti. Degno di essere sottolineato è il blocchetto accensione (non c’è più la classica chiave) ma un telecomando da infilare in una fessura per poi premere l’Engine Start Botton. Ora le impressioni di guida: la Freelander 2 provata era la 2200 TD4 S da 35181 ".
Rispetto alla prima serie, l’auto si è fatta più morbida, più silenziosa, guadagnano in confort e in facilità di guida, non dimenticando l’uso polivalente che se ne può fare (a testimoniare ciò l’Hill Descent Control, che permette di affrontare discese ripide a velocità controllata senza spingere nessun pedale). Tutto ciò grazie al nuovo propulsore da 160 cv, elastico brillante e potente che da brio e scatto alla popolare SUV British. Infine i prezzi: i benzina vanno dai 39500 " della 3200 S ai 45800 " della 3200 HSE, i diesel vanno dai 30800 " della 2200 TD4 E ai 40600 " della 2200 TD4 HSE.
