Napoli, ACLI su Ladysilvia; Una celebrazione del primo maggio dedicata a chi il lavoro non ce l’ha, a chi rischia di perderlo, a chi per esso ha perso la propria vita. E’ questo il pensiero del presidente provinciale delle Acli Pasquale Orlando mentre si avvicina la ricorrenza della festa dei lavoratori.

“Saremo a Pomigliano d’Arco " afferma Orlando " a fianco di quanti rischiano il licenziamento, con un pensiero speciale a tutte le vittime di incidenti sul lavoro.

Le Acli chiedono che il tema della sicurezza sul lavoro diventi concretamente una priorità nell’agenda politica del Paese, che significa essenzialmente tre cose: tempi certi per l’approvazione del disegno di legge in materia approvato dal consiglio dei ministri; garanzie, anche economiche, per la reale efficacia delle ispezioni sul lavoro; promozione da parte di imprese, sindacati e associazioni di una cultura della sicurezza tra i lavoratori stessi, superando ignoranza, pigrizia e resistenze diffuse.”

“La solitudine dei lavoratori " spiega il presidente Orlando " soprattutto quelli precari e irregolari, la maggior parte giovani e immigrati, rappresenta un ostacolo alla diffusione della cultura della sicurezza e della responsabilità , facilitando al contrario il prodursi di situazioni rischiose. Ma è una solitudine che riguarda oggi tutti i lavoratori, vittime di una deriva individualistica che ha intaccato il lavoro e i lavoratori così come la società intera.

Bisogna allora recuperare e ricostruire quella radice di socialità del lavoro, che nella storia ha significato diritti di cittadinanza, giustizia sociale e solidarietà . È questa la ragione per cui riteniamo importante rilanciare e promuovere anche in futuro i valori della mutualità , della cooperazione e della solidarietà , che da sempre si collegano alla cultura dei lavoratori.”
