Istruzione: al via il bando “Scuole in WiFi”

Creare all’interno degli edifici scolastici zone WiFi (es.: aule didattiche, laboratorio di informatica, sala professori, ecc.) aperte a studenti e docenti per favorire la fruizione di servizi di didattica innovativa, sia di tipo didattico che amministrativo.
E’ questo l’obiettivo dell’Avviso “Scuole in WiFi“, promosso dal Ministro per la pubblica amministrazione e innovazione e il Ministero dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della ricerca.
Le istituzioni scolastiche interessate, hanno tempo fino al 15 luglio 2011 per richiedere la fornitura del kit WiFi, costituito da un insieme di apparati e servizi, grazie al quale sarà possibile creare facilmente, punti di accesso ad internet, senza la necessità quindi di cablare gli edifici scolastici.
Possono partecipare all’avviso tutte le istituzioni scolastiche statali di ogni ordine e grado.

È partita il 9 maggio l’iniziativa “Scuole in WiFi“, che mira a realizzare reti di connettività senza fili negli istituti scolastici italiani per offrire servizi innovativi, sia di tipo didattico sia amministrativo. Gli istituti scolastici coinvolti saranno 5mila per i prossimi mesi e altrettanti entro il 2012.Tutte le istituzioni scolastiche principali statali di ogni ordine e grado possono prenotarsi sul portale Scuola Mia per richiedere la fornitura tecnica.
L’iniziativa rappresenta un tassello del più ampio progetto di digitalizzazione “Scuola Mia“, presentato nell’aprile scorso dai ministri Brunetta e Gelmini, che prevede, oltre all’introduzione delle reti wi-fi, altre novità come le pagelle digitali, la posta elettronica certificata, le iscrizioni e i pagamenti online.
Il kit WiFi è costituito da un insieme di apparati e servizi, finalizzati a consentire alle istituzioni scolastiche di realizzare un collegamento alla rete internet, con tecnologia senza fili, di un’area del proprio edificio (ad esempio l’aula magna, un’aula didattica, un laboratorio d’informatica, ovvero anche più aule didattiche).

Le istituzioni scolastiche possono presentare la domanda per la fornitura del kit WiFi fino alle ore 24 del 15 luglio 2011.
