Catania: C’è anche il cabaret nella stagione estiva del Teatro Massimo Bellini. Mercoledi prossimo, 10 settembre 2008, alle ore 21, in piazza Vincenzo Bellini, per Bellini d’Estate sarà di scena Il Gatto Blu, storico gruppo cabarettistico catanese guidato da Gino Astorina, che proporrà l’ultima produzione, “Non ci possiamo lamentare”, dedicata ai vizi e alle virtù del popolo catanese, lavoro che per l’occasione è stato riscritto e attualizzato: “Certo, è sempre l’attualità il tema centrale, il filo conduttore -spiega Gino Astorina- ma per l’occasione sarà attraverso le lenti dell’età e delle sue diverse stagioni”.
Lo spettacolo, come per tutti gli eventi di Bellini d’Estate, è ad ingresso gratuito, ma sarà necessario ritirare il biglietto al botteghino del Teatro Massimo Bellini a partire da oggi, 8 settembre, e fino ad esaurimento dei posti (massimo due posti per ciascun richiedente).
Così Il Gatto Blu parla di “Non ci possiamo lamentare”: Incontri rapidi, fugaci, che non ti lasciano il tempo di fiatare ne tanto meno di capire se chi hai davanti è un tuo compagno delle scuole elementari o del corso di scuola guida. Il destino ha voluto che lo incontrassi per caso così come il tuo primo amore, il tuo primo lavoro e per caso la tua prima disavventura ha scelto te. Nel frattempo ti inonda di domande che vanno dal tuo “stato di famiglia” al contenuto del “modello 7e40”. E non ti ricordi il nome, niente, neanche uno straccio di indizio. Per educazione rispondi, in maniera sibillina, forse anche soft, ma sicuramente bugiarda. Ed invece avresti voglia di liberarti di tutti quei nodi, groppi e sintòmi che ti colpiscono alla così detta “bocca dell’anima”. Non lo fai, lui fuggirebbe. Allora sfoderando solo mezzo sorriso stringi le spalle e dici : “non mi posso lamentare” e continui la tua corsa verso il nulla. A proposito”¦ voi come state?
La compagnia del Gatto Blu, un felice sodalizio che dura ormai da oltre trent’anni e che ha sede nella storica Sala Harpago di via Vittorio Emanuele, è composto da Francesca Agate, Gino Astorina, Pippo Marziale, Luciano Messina, Nuccio Morabito. Oltre che attori, sono anche autori dei testi dei loro ormai numerosissimi spettacoli, tutti di grande successo, alcuni divenuti veri e propri cult della catanesità , con la sua liscìa e il suo proverbiale disincanto. Sarà una serata di grande allegria, ma anche un modo “leggero” per riflettere sui mali di Catania.
